Southeast Asia is rapidly becoming the region hit hardest by coronavirus disease (COVID-19), as evidenced surging daily number of new confirmed cases and deaths. The COVID-19 crisis continues to worsen with entry more transmissible variants concern, primarily Delta variant severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) which was first identified in India. Pregnant women are among vulnerable population groups at risk suffering from may experience poor pregnancy neonatal outcomes due infection. Vaccination seems be most effective strategy curb pandemic secondarily social distancing, wearing face masks practising hand hygiene. There has been limited yet reassuring evidence support vaccinating pregnant against COVID-19. We sought review latest regarding safety, immunogenicity reactogenicity vaccines well recommendations guidance provided public health authorities countries Asia.
